Ceremony Options

• Hotel Grounds: Choose from elegant garden spaces or traditional settings.
• Beach: A seaside ceremony creates a relaxed, exotic ambiance.
• Boat: Charter a private boat for a sunset cruise along the Akamas peninsula, combined with your ceremony or drinks reception, followed by a gala dinner at the hotel. (Available in summer, weather permitting.)

Legal Requirements

All religious ceremonies and blessings—except those performed by an Anglican priest—must be preceded by a civil wedding. Couples are responsible for ensuring that required documents, such as birth certificates, sworn affidavits, or divorce certificates (if applicable), are prepared before arriving in Cyprus.

Your documents must be submitted to the local municipality before your wedding day. The Thalassa Hotel Wedding Coordinator can schedule your appointment at the Town Hall and guide you through the application process.

Please note: marriage license fees and the officiant’s charges are paid directly to the Town Hall, along with your paperwork.
